As-Built / Installation Detailing
As built drawings (RIBA Stage 6) provides the accurate construction/ installation of any MEPF components which differs from the Stage 3 to stage 5 provided information. As built drawings captured all the changes made to design documents due to unforeseen conditions or modifications. The purpose of the As built is to reflect any changes made during the construction reflected accurately in the final product. As built drawings play a vital role in future maintenance , repaits , renovations of any other modifications.
The As Built drawings purpose can be defined as the following:
- Record Design changes
- Provided Accurate data for repairs and Maintenance to ease the accessibility
- Avoid mistakes and Reworks
- Adhere with Regulations and Standards missed out during the initial design
